Most retailers try very hard to keep their stores or places very safe. Most also insure themselves in case of an accident. Many have cameras, like Disney, virtually everywhere to protect themselves from scam artists.

The key point to understand is that if you are injured due to the proprietor's negligence you have standing to file a law suit if they will not cover your damages.
